Cache Valley Assisted Living Communities Offer Top-Notch Care

Founded in 1948‚ the Sunshine Terrace has offered extensive community services for more than 58 years. The assisted living center has 55 apartments with all the amenities as well as common areas including sitting rooms and a dining room. The center also offers many extras such as a library‚ beauty parlor and an exercise room. In addition to the assisted living center‚ the Sunshine Terrace complex also houses a rehabilitation center and an adult day center. The rehabilitation center is a 156-bed nursing facility that serves individuals of all ages who need care. These services include short-term and extended reha bilitation‚ palliative care‚ and respite care‚ and the center even offers certified music therapy. The adult day center provides on-site day services for people needing additional help.
Sunshine Terrace employs about 335 staff members and cares for more than 200 people daily. As part of their not-for-profit mission‚ the foundation has donated more than $1 million a year in uncompensated care and insured more than 75‚000 volunteer hours given by from the community‚ Sinclair says.
The Cache Valley Assisted Living center also offers a community of excel lent care and support. One different aspect of Cache Valley Assisted Living is its emphasis on pet ownership. Realizing the value of the connection people have with their fuzzy friends‚ the community accepts small pets. On top of the com munity’s basic services‚ Cache Valley Assisted Living offers many personalized living options such as housekeeping and personal laundry service. Much like Sunshine Terrace‚ residents of Cache Valley Assisted Living are encouraged to decorate their own apartments and entertain guests as often as they wish. The community also offers many activ ities such as arts and crafts‚ gardening‚ movies‚ and musical guests.
Along with Sunshine Terrace and Cache Valley Assisted Living‚ there are many other excellent care facilities in the area such as Legacy House and Pioneer Valley Lodge. Aside from the basic services‚ Legacy House employs a full-time activities director for trips to concerts or the theater while Pioneer Valley Lodge is located on 10 acres of farmland complete with beautiful mountain views.
